I made this hitch for my is600z for about $25 hardware included. My friend welded it for me. The back plate covers all three bumper bars for even support. I used 1/4" x 3" aluminum I bought online. Amazon wants $80 bucks for a steel one and dealer about the same. .

That is nice. No reason not to use aluminum for the light stuff a mower can handle.

Thanks blazNT, also no rust so no need to paint.

I made a similar setup on my Simplicity Cobalt. Now that my son has a welder and access to loads of stainless steel scrap, I'll likely get him to make me something new and paint to match.
