Hello,

I am restoring an old (~1964) Toro push mower. This particular year was the "Golden Whirlwind" but the deep red plastic engine cover (with the gas tank opening in the front corner) appeared over several years. Does anybody have one to sell? I am willing to pay well for it.

Failing that, would somebody be willing to "lend" to me so I might 3-D scan it? I would, of course, promise to return and to pay all shipping costs.

Of reduced urgency but would be nice would be to get an impulse start (crank start) mechanism. These actually span a greater range of years throughout the 60's. Anybody have one they would like to sell?

Might be good to post this over at MyTractorForum as well. LawnWorld seems to be focused on troubleshooting mower problems, MTF is more focused on restorations.
