If anyone knows where I can find a good running Lawn Boy 1967 7256, I am really looking for one to restore. These are great mowers and I really love these old ones. If anyone can help me, reply back !! Thanks !!

I DO NOT HAVE THAT MODEL BUT HAVE A FEW OTHER D MOTOR MODELS FROM THE 70'S. I HAVE A SELF PROPELLED STARS AND STRIPES MODEL THAT RUNS GREAT AND WOULD BE A NICE ONE TO RESTORE.ITS ONE OF 200 MADE AND IS A 1974 NOT THE BICENTENIAL MODEL
Thanks for your reply to my post. But , unfortunately, I am just looking for that particular year and model mower. I grew up using a 1967 7256, and by the time it died it was 34 years old , so its kinda sentimental to find another one like it. Even if I had to just get a D-404 motor, as long as I could find a shroud and gas tank etc.. to make one up from parts. They just seem so hard to find, but I am determined to make this dream come true. I actually have 3 other Lawn Boys myself. I have a '77 R7268 and a 1976 5244 that is completely original but the rear wheels, but I have original Lawn Boy wheels I could put on. As I said before, if you know of anybodythat could help me fulfil my dream , please get a hold of me. Thanks so much !!!!
