We have 6 mulching mowers in are shop for repair ( Viking European make) With kohler xt675 engines.
They all have the same problem wont start. Usual diagnostics pointed to carbs.
Carburettors cleaned twice in some cases and also put in a ultra sonic bath, reassemble, but engines still wont fire.
They all have the automatic choke systems, ie by metal element heats up and opens choke, all these are working as all the chokes
are closed when cold. The engines will run if easy start is sprayed into carb, they start 1st time and run really sweet.
If you stop the engines they won’t even start from hot....it is a fuel issue be we have know idea. Any thoughts, we have a good repetition as a repair shop in the Uk, but don’t deal with many kohler carbs. Is it just worth replacing the carbs because they have had there day. Any help would be very much appreciated..
