Kobalt moter for the 20 inch dual blade mower

I need the motor replace due to a stripped threads. Kobalt no longer makes the motor does anyone know of a replacement motor.

This is the same lawn mower as the Greenworks Twin Force model 25302, so the motors are the same. There are two different motors, because one rotates clockwise and the other rotates counter-clockwise. I just had to thank you so much! I have this kobalt dual 40V electric mower and its honestly one of the best things I own. Nothing like mowing grass! My motor is dying a slow death, my husband finally got the part number today and I've been on the hunt for a motor and your post was spot on. Thank you!

This is a long shot, but I also am in need of this motor now. The part is no longer found at the links above. I need the right side rearward motor, 36101486A. I have scoured the internet and the only place I have found them is on the Greenworks Canada site. However, I cannot purchase them in the US. Very frustrating. Does anyone know where I can find this part, or have one laying around? :)

Finding parts and service on big box equipment (especially battery powered equipment), is part of the downside of choosing to go with battery instead of gas. Ironically, while trying to “save the environment “ with batteries, we end up doing more damage to the environment with mining for batteries, and continuing the buy and disposal process of equipment with battery power.

check ebay, either for the motor, or for a complete mower you could use to salvage parts from.
