With every recall, be it in electricals, mowers, vehicles et cetera, my faith in modern manufacturers gets lower and lower.

If only they did more rigorous tests in real life situations before selling the equipment perhaps there would be no need for recalls.

Oh well, such is modern life :frown:

Yea it was a big recall, I got my letter on September 27th. http://www.lawnmowerforum.com/general-mower-discussion/12142-kawasaki-recall.html#post78959 for fuel filters. Apparently when they stamped the filter some went to deep causing the filters to leak. I thought it was funny that when I checked the filter, that mine doesn't even have the stamp on it. That's ok did you read the Recall for November 1, 2012 that Excel Industries Recalled all the Hustler and BigDog Lawn Mowers Due to Fire Hazard.
