Reading the valve lash specs right outta the "Official' Kaw repair manual for my engine. I & E : .002, ~ .039
How can that 2nd spec be correct ?

BlazNT- Yes I agree .0039, but the .039 is exactly what is listed in the Kaw Repair manual, it is their typo, I would say.

Got some bad info from online Kawasaki Repair Manual. :thumbdown:
Correct valve lash specs are actually .004 ~ .006 cold for the FR651V (verified by Kawasaki).

Wow not only was .039 not printed correct to .0039 but it was wrong as well. It think the need to fix that.

My thought is if my online Kaw manual has wrong valve lash specs, what else could be possibly wrong ?
Got my mower back today, tech said Kaw likes lash set in the middle of .004 ~ .006, intakes were OK, Exhausts were a lil loose. Hopefully good now.
Hopefully when rains stop & I can get out & test her out on my lawn.
I am gonna get that 10w-40 Kaw oil out, my mower never used oil till I put that 10w-40 oil in last oil change. Going back to straight 30wt. Like it came with.
