So i got this jx75 and it will start but back fires.
It wont really throttle up kinda like its not getting fuel.
If i lean the mower back on the rear tires, the rpm’s increase but still backfires.
If i put it back on all four’s the rpm’s decrease and theottle up with the lever.
What ya think guys?

Btw! The plug is fresh, fuel is new, fuel is getting to the carb and there is no change in how it runs if i pull the air filter.

I would take the carb off and get that fuel nozzle out and clean the holes on the side of it and the 2 main holes on the ends...... Check your bowl nut for a hole in the top and some on the sides......
Clean the holes with a small wire then spray carb cleaner in all the holes well..... Clean the body of the carb inside and clean the bowl out with a brass tooth brush if corroded...
I pulled that jet out with the engine running before i posted this thread.
It increased the rpm level and back to how it was running when i put it back.
I dont squat about mowers or four stroke engines.
I know my way around two stroke engines though.
