Unless the silver mower had the square style clutch on it, I'm going to say it looks like it's possible to do the swap. The 5 speed transmissions and blade clutches are subbing to same part numbers in the catalog for each mower. I would just make sure the serial number on the silver deck is 175001 and above. The lower serial number range is requiring different rear wheel brackets. The best thing to do is strip the mower down and compare decks. Let us know how it works out!
