Noticed an oily spot, 12x18", under my 2013 Z655 after it had been parked for about 10 days. Engine oil reads full,
I suspect a leak from one of the transmissions. Mower has only 11 hours on it (purchased in May). Any other ideas? Why would
an almost new machine leak?
Don't touch it. If you purchased it in May, it is under warranty and take it to a registered dealer for repairs. You working on it could void that warranty.
I also have a 655 that had a hydraulic leakage so I drilled a hole on the inside of cap and put a filter in the in side of cap no more leakage. Now I have a oil leak I don’t know if it’s a bottom main seal or the o- ring on the oil adapter cause the filter isn’t leaking .I have no warranty when I did no dealer in Michigan could fix the issues
