After sitting for a week I found that all my gas was gone and my crank case is full of fuel. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Your float needle in your carb is not sealing allowing fuel to enter engine.
Remove, clean and build your carb.
Replace your engine oil.

I had the same thing happen to my z225 18.5 eng but it blew up,and I have to replace it. I called john deer and i have to have product number and they are going to look into any other people that have any problems. I f you would call them at 1-800-537-8233. thans
