Looking to replace my LX255 but use existing snowthrower also looking for models with limited slip differential, 42" mower deck and commercial grade engine and drive train

The only way you could do that is to move up to the LX277, which had a Kawasaki engine. Your snowblower won't fit any current models. JD does not have limited slip differentials, rather the X570 has differential lock and a more robust transmission than the LX(now the X300 series). But, there again, your snowblower won't fit it. Your best bet is to let the blower go with the LX255. Deere did a complete redesign when they changed from the LX and GX series to the X300 and X500 series. None of the older series attachments are compatible.

I was afraid of being out dated equipment. My LX255 engine needs an overhaul and 42" deck is in sad shape, repaired many times. Trying to transfer as much of the equipment as I can; weights, chains, cab, ect.... Thank you for the information.
