I have a John Deere LX188 that will run for 20 minutes before shutting off. I have replaced the fuel pump, carburetor, gas lines, gas caps, fuel filters, fuel shut-off solenoid, A2 Interlock Module and it still cuts off after twenty minutes and often times will not start again until sometimes later. Has anyone else had this problem with their John Deere?

Do you have a see through fuel filter? Is it empty of fuel when this happens?

Dirty fuel tank or plugged gas cap.
Loosen gas cap and see if you hear air going in it, when the mower dies...Or drive with it loose and see if it acts up in 20 minutes.

My problem was a dirty fuel tank due to the rubber of the fuel cap disintegrating and falling into the tank.

Also make sure you have spark when this happens.
