My son was given this mower from his grandma, had been sitting in a shed for years, we tried to start it, it tried to fire a couple of times, then nothing.
I have cleaned out the gas lines, gas tank, new spark plug, checked the coil gap, I have it at 12/1000, cleaned the all of the coil connections, removed all rusty areas on the flywheel, checked the coil with an ohm meter it was reading 4.65, I think that is ok. still no spark, I have unhooked the kill switch, still no spark.
I have gone ahead an ordered a new coil. I hope that is the problem. Any other ideas????
