I'm a newb to John Deere Lawn Tractors but have pretty good mechanical ability. Before I start tearing parts off my mower, I wanted to pick ya'lls brains to see if this is a common problem, what the fix is, etc.
Basically I was in very tall grass and if I didn't keep a constant eye on the Height lever it would drop down to the lowest setting. I have a couple of really nice nearly scalped sections of my lawn now thanks to that.
