Hello:
I was going to change the tranny fluid on my JD 316 mower which has the Onan engine. My question pertains to the tranny fluid change interval that is recommended, what is the filter number needed (Fram or Napa) , what type of tranny fluid is to be used to refill with and how much? Sorry, I don't have a manual for this tractor. Also, while cleaning and checking the spark plugs I noticed they were black and carboned--too rich a mixture?? Can one adjust the carburetor to remedy this? Thanks ofr any help.
