JD 245gt transmission linkage problem

Hi, I had to remove rear deck so that I could clean fuel tank out. Put it all back but now the fwd and rev pedals are flat down on rear deck floor. What have I done wrong now again and how do I fix it? I am quite mechanical but not a mower man. Please help.
