Although I am still trying to determine what year this was made, I think it is from 1960-61. Can anyone in this forum help me? It's model #8C26 Ser#6369. I've had fun peeling away 50 years of grease and muck to reveal that beautiful "Jake Orange".

I just placed a big order on Ebay for all the replacement parts, including the piston, rod, bearings, governor, gaskets, and 321 oil. Although I haven't gotten into the carb yet, the mower was in relatively good shape...other then a broken piston rod and bad rings. Goal is the get this old gal running again!

I also attached an exploded parts list (.pdf) of the Estate 26. Hope someone finds this as useful as I have!

Hi Skyshark54, According to this link it's a 1962 {based on serial # only} Wish I could be of more help...looks like a fine specimen to breathe some life back into...Enjoy!

Looks like a good one Skyhawk. I have one from either '53 or '54. Different drive setup, all chains, no belts. Ser. 824-10372. Where did you find parts?
