I have a 2008 IS3100Z ( 30hp B&S ) that quit while mowing. Acts like the battery is dead. Cranks real slow a couple times then just clicks. Replaced the battery and is doing the same thing. I am assuming it is in the ignition or charging system but was wondering if anybody else has had a similar issue before spending the money to take it in for service.
Found that a piece of wood had kicked up and lodged between the main drive pulley and belt kicking the drive belt off and up against the top of the deck. Fixed the belt and the mower runs good now but is blowing the fuse for the PTO after about 30 minutes of cutting.
