I like to tinker. is there any reason why I cannot install an oil tank (old Simplicity hyd oil tank 1.75 gt) in my oil line assembly to double my oil capacity. I plan to install Kohler oil cooler, then route return oil to extra tank,then from tank back to "in" port on filter base. My purpose is to reduce oil temp, naturally. I would imagine the temp where I live, So Georgia, gets to over 200 F in the oil crankcase. anyone ever did this? any reason it wouldn't work? tks for all comments.(humor me, now. I am old)

If you can get everything fitted up, and it still has oil pressure, it should work. It is just making it fit :thumbsup:
