The Mod. 3954 was on the mower deck. When was it made? I remember it was shift on the fly with a rotating rubber disc sort of that was engaged when shifting. Are these parts still available? I last ran this in 1991 and would like to use it in the next 5-10 years.. Thanks!
The original Ariens Emperors were built in the mid to late 1960's. They later on called some of the 925XXX series from the mid 1970's Emperors also. A photo of your mower would be great. Doubt if any thing is still available from Ariens I have put Snapper drive discs on the later 925XXX and 927XXX models. Does your mower have hub caps on it? The Ariens made in the 1960's were real fancy mowers.
