Hello all,
I have a Snapper Briggs and Stratton Professional Series 175 cc walk behind lawn mower. This spring I was doing a tune up and noticed debris in the gas tank. After draining all the gas out the debris was still in there. So I stuffed a rag inside to remove it and dislodged the screen filter inside the tank. To protect my engine, I installed an inline see through fuel filter. I started it up and it runs great. After sitting a week in between grass mowing the fuel in the filter is orange. I check inside the tank and the fuel is clear. After running the engine for five minutes the inline filter is clear again. What is going on? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom
