how do you the idler spring reattached when you replace drive belts. I cant even get it close.

I was going to respond with a very rude comment, but I'll be nice. We have no idea what you are talking about. You need to provide us with more info if you want help. Make, model and serial numbers would get you some help.

I made a tool for this called a trampoline. Its just a rod with a hook on one end and a handle on the other.
