I have a 21-inch Bolens walk-behind, push mower, model 11A-B0BL765. I need a blade but all I can find are mulching type, Bolens part numbers 942-0640, 942-0741A and 942-0741-X. All are mulching or Xtreme mulching. I want a blade that is designed with emphasis on really slinging out the clippings. I've been to Lowe's and Home Depot where some blades are marked "mulching" and some not but when I place one on top of the other for comparison, they are perfect matches.
I'll change the blade adapter if I have to but of course only if I have to.
Another complaint I have is the soft metal in today's blades, won't hold an edge long enough to get through one season, and I have a small yard. But that's not as important to me right now as getting a blade to sling out the clippings.
