Worked perfectly for 4 years then last time I went to use it wouldn't start.
Carb is good, gets fuel, spark is good. Had a guy look at it and said compression is no good,it's only 90. Would replacing the piston ring help or should I replace piston also. Piston looks good,no scores, it was just a bit dirty.
Am I wasting my time and money trying to fix it.
Weigh your money options repair parts vs. price of new blower. You can pick up new Echo at local Home Depot for $160. I have two Echo's, one hand held the other backpack blower. I always use echo 2-cycle oil with high test 93 octane gas, I use high test in all equipment, let us know what you decide & how it runs Husqvarna vs, Echo, thanks.
