TexasGopher here. I'm currently running a Troy built Super Bronco and I like it a lot. I upgraded from a John Deere LA120 with a 42-inch deck.
Mine has around 47 hours on it and is in it's second season of mowing. Happy camper so far.

Maintenance is the big factor, keeping the machine(s) out of the elements and OIL is the life blood of these engines.
Glad to have you join us, IF.. you should seek help on the site PLEASE .. include your machines information, your LA 120 is the SERIES of your JD we need more , see example ....
