How many hours do you have on your Ventrac? Or for that matter on any of your tractors with hour meters? Or give it your best guess

I enjoy seeing how many hours people have on their tractors no matter what model!

I'm due to change all my oil & filters within the next wk or two... I'll have to look this thread up when I get the accurate #'s ... but I also like to see how many hours folks rack up on their babies... :smile:KennyV

I Have 1500 hrs. on my Walker. Just got my Ventrac in the fall and have about 80 hrs. Used it for leaves and snow removal. Getting ready for mowing.

About 900 with no major problems - I'm not sure the meter is right - I'm on it nearly every day for 6 years - Hours seem low for that much use. Even at 1 hour a day that would be over 2000 Hours ! Sometimes I'm on it 3 to 4 hours in a day.

I average about 120 hours per year. On my current 4231TD I have about 400.

Last time I check, I had around 250hrs on my Ventrac 3223D Compact Tractor. No problems whatsoever! It is sure nice on the engine when I can use it year round for mowing, leaf blowing, and snow removal.

Mmmmm striping :licking: My wife does not understand why I am so particular about mowing, but she doesn't complain when she sees the finished product

At work we have several well seasoned machines......that we still use as front line equipment...one of my Toro greensmasters has 5350hrs,the other has 1750. One of my Steiners 1997(420 4x4)has 2300,the older Steiner 1989 420 4x4,has around 10-11000 hrs,its been thru 4 meters so i dont have an exact number but the number im giving is conservative....I have 2 dixie choppers, one 25hp kohler with 1100 hrs,and a 2005 XXWD 5000 turbodiesel yanmar beast with 700 or so hrs...my 2001 GMC 2500HD with 8.1L/Allison has 3600hrs(and 102K miles),and my new to me ventrac 4231 has 500.....Ive got a bunch more stuff but this is the main stuff we use, The Steiners are just amazing machines,we took deivery of our 1989 in spring of 89,and its never stopped since, Im hoping the Ventrac is as durable a unit overall,as the Steiners have been for us.

Well the Ventrac is designed and built by the same Steiner family that designed and built your 89' Steiner, so you should be in for a treat :licking: These things are built like tanks!

Yes I'm fully aware of the relationship between the 2.. My older steiner is definitely the better of the 2.. I've been involved the commercial turf industry for 22 + years. I am very happy with the performance and durability of my Steiners.... The things I do with them and the places they go especially with duals most people cannot believe....
