I have a 1050 Cub Cadet. the key was left on and it added alot of hours on it . Is there anyway I can reset the meter? Will the meter go back to 0 if it goes past 999.9 hours. Thank You

A good question. I did just the same for 47 hour worth on my XT1. Interesting idea about possibly leaving it until it goes back to zero again if that is in fact what it does.

No
they are not resettable
The only way around it is to fit a new one then run it up to the desired hours

I don't have hour meter but here is my thought, you could just remove the power to the meter keep track of your hours manually till it gets to were you need it than hook it back up. Next if you want to take the chance disconnect the power feed from the switch or wherever it comes from and then connect a battery lead directly to the meter till it goes past the 999.9 and see if it does go to 0 again depending on listed hour if you did the whole 999.9 it should only take 41 days to see if it works. :) :)
