Any ideas what the problem is and how expensive to repair .... mower runs great and will pull most times but won't shift between speeds. I have cleaned all debris around transmission

Same model here... my issue is self propell doesn't work at all. Wondering if you fixed the issue.

I have not done anything yet as I've been looking at videos. I plan to dive in tomorrow with the plan to disconnect the cable on the right side going into the 3 speed lever, follow it down to where it connects underneath and see if there is an adjusting gizmo. What I can say is there is not an adjusting screw visible from the 3 speed lever to the feeder hole into the mower.

I had to loosen cable on handle and move to adjust- once I got it in the right place the transmission would engage
