I have a 10 year old Honda 1011 rear engine riding mower. It is working great except the throttle will not stay on fast while mowing. The knob works it's way down and I have to pull it back up every two times around the back yard. Is this something I could adjust myself or should I take it in. I'm hoping it's just something that needs to be tightened.
Generally there is enough friction in the throttle cable to hold the set position ... you can either put a light bend, kink in the control cable or give it a careful pinch to increase the drag of the inner wire ... :smile:KennyV
