I just bought a stihl hl100 and a km110 with the hl-km 135 degree attachment. The hl100 is fine but the blade on the attachment i got for the kombi has some serious resistance when trying to adjust the blade, quite a lot of push to get it to move, then it makes a loud click when I am bringing it back to storage position. Is it normal for it to be tight when new?? Anyway the hl100 is the same setup but swivels fine. Dont know if i should just use it or bring it back, it works fine but worried there is something wrong in there. Thanks everyone
With the cost of these, if you have a worry, run it by your Stihl dealer service tech to check it while attached to the Kombi. He can tell you in seconds.
