The kid decided to play drive the lawn mower this winter on my current mower and I did not notice the key is in the on position on the mower. I now went from 78 hours to 903 hours on the meter! Is there a way to reset this or replace the hours? I have a 1/2 acre yard and it is only 2 years old just up in the air on what now especially if I am looking to trade

All you can do is replace with new one then turn key on for 78 hours.

A lot of mowers I see have a piece of tape with -xyz written on it.
One of the reasons I encourage owners to take the key out and hang it on the oil dip stick.
The other one should be obvious
