Hello everyone recently i bought a gravely walk behind with a Lomdardini LDA510 14HP diesel engine but the engine isnt the problem it runs fine the only problem is when i put it in first or second gear and in foward or backwards nothing happens! So i talked to a guy and he said there is problably something stuck cause it had sat for 5 years outside and the transmission oil is as white as milk. If it runs and i put it in gear and forward you can see it wants to drive but doesnt have the power for it. So my plan was to drain all the old oil out of the transmission and put diesel fuel in the trans and let it soak for a couple of days so things can loosen up a bit. The only problem is that i dont know what oil is supposed to go in the trans cause it doesnt have a clutch that you need to squeeze.so the guy i talked to thinks there has to be hydraulic oil in it cause it has a built in clutch but i dont think thats right. So if anyone knows please respond!
