Hello all.....
I have an original 1985 GH 1210 with a 12hp Kohler K310 engine.
I have had this for many years, and have had very little issues with it, until last week when the drive coupler between the engine and t-drive to the hydrostatic went out.
The coupler is destroyed, with the teeth shorn off both sides....the spider is destroyed.
How do I replace this ?
Do I need to remove the engine, or is there enough clearance room to remove the damaged halves of the couplers from the driveshafts ?
I can't find much info on this 38 year old mower.
The mower still has the original engine and 2 good pumps......I enjoy keeping it going, and no doubt could still use it if I can repair/replace this coupler.
Any help is much appreciated.
