Hello Folks,
My GR2120-54 has been trouble-free for 5 years, until today. Started fine, warmed up and pulled PTO lever to engage the mower deck. Sounded like a grenade went off and the engine stopped. Disconnected the driveshaft to the mower deck, and found the mower deck turns freely. Tried the PTO again and the engine stalls immediately. Does this sound like a failed PTO or something in the transmission? As-is, I can't even push the mower. It appears to be locked up. The mower deck raises and lowers just fine, and the engine starts and runs fine, until I try to use the PTO.
