I have a garden tiller with a 5 hp.Briggs engine it runs alright but when I put the breather on it almost dies out?

If you haven't cleaned the carb then I would start there.

Sorry to hear about your garden tiller problem. I'm moving your thread over to the Briggs section to see if we can find you some answers.

If the air filter is too dirty it may not be letting enough air through. If you adjusted the carb with the air filter off you may need to readjust it with the filter on.
