I had a service repair for the Kohler 23 HP engine because it ran too rich and would flood the engine totally out. After 2 carburator replacements under warranty they sent out a company technician. He was unable to determine the cause but suggested changing out the fuel pump and all gas lines. Which was all done under warranty. Did not help. I final cut the fuel line and placed a shutoff valve in the gas line. Now I can regulate the fuel flow and use the mower as it was intended.
