Hi,

I am considering either the
Cub Cadet Cub Cadet 50 in. 24 HP Kawasaki
or Toro TimeCutter SS5060 Kawasaki.

The only main difference is the Cub has 13" castors, whereas the Toro has 13".
Both have 18" Rear wheels.

Should this matter? I do have a few hills on my land.

Thanks, James

You say the only difference is that they are the same?

ha. sorry.

the toro is 10" and the cub cadet is 13"

Will this make the CC better for hills?

Not necessarily better on hills... but a lot better on rough lawns... :smile:KennyV

Keep in mind those low end mowers like what you are looking at use poly bushings instead of bearings on the casters.
Won't be long before you will need to replace them.

true, but i noticed that Toro make Exmarks, and the Toro TimeCutter SS5060 Kawasaki 24hp seems to be like the Exmark Quest 24hp 50".

Thats about as commercial as I can afford

As far as above poster, he is partially correct, The SS5060 has steel bushings on front axle.

I have posted a procedure to replace steel bushings with ball bearings.
