neighbor has one of these which is two yrs old-built like a tank but she wasn't sure of the cost-thought it was very expensive- something like 6-7 k. inputs anyone--------:confused2:
Like any commercial line, they can go well above that price...

You get what you pay for. I have seen new rideing mower for less the 1000 dollars. The ferris with good care will last for years which is very repairable. The less then 1000 dollar mower you just junk in a few years not worth repairing and just buy another cheap mower.
Ferris has many different models. I shopped the two lower ones. The best I could find on the 44" IS500Z was $4650 and on the 48" IS1500Z was 6165, cash or check, no credit cards. For a home owner looking for speed, good mow, and durability, I think they are well worth the price.
