Hey guys,
Let me start by saying I am not new to engine repair or rebuild. Here is the issue....
I have a generic 48" walk behind. Maybe 200 hours I bought used from a homeowner. It ran great for a year. Then I noticed there was gas in the oil, removed one valve cover gas pored out. I replaced the carb all good for 2 weeks. Then I noticed oil leaking from the exhaust. My thought was a valve guide seal, but for the love of GOD I combed over the tech manual and did not find one? It does not smoke when running, just on starting it. When it sits or shut it off she leaks. Can anyone tell me what to do, or look at? Also, I did not do a compression check yet...sorry.
P.s. Why is there so many of these engines, so few people willing to look at these, and limited parts?

Thank you in advance for any help.
Steve

https://www.google.com/search?q=sho....28387j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8 Click on top link, pdf mymower parts and go to troubleshooting section. Take your time reading and concentrating on your problem, also go to section 6 page 6.1 and 6.2 gas in oil in reference to head gasket. I know you posted you read through this manual, always start with the basic troubleshooting principles such as air filter, new oil and filter, fresh gas, new plugs.
