What are the thoughts of swapping out the 15 HP Kohler with a 19 HP KAW? My 15 bogs down because of the mulching kit and a little long grass. Blades are sharp. and i have less than 125 hr's on the unit.

Hi i would think you would be ok a little extra horsepower should not hurt, I would think if it fits go for it if you have enuff room for the larger engine. I don't know if you will notice the 4 more horsepower or not that's not a lot more hp.

That's a 1/4 more hp. So if you're willing to fork over the cash for the swap. I say do it. A 19hp on a 36" would be plenty of power.
