I have not used my Dixon for about 3 years and wanted to give it to an elderly neighbor who could use it. I changed the oil, drained, cleaned and refilled the fuel tank and removed the carburetor and cleaned it. It will run fine, but when I raise the control arms to the upright position it shuts off. The brake had been released prior to raising the control arms. I assume the safety system is shutting it down, but I don't know why. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
