I was doing a search for something else and found this. The website won't allow me to right click and post the photos directly do you'll have to scroll down about 3/4 of the page and look for thumbnails of a burned up John Deere lawnmower.

that is why you dont buy a john deere! a guy that i know that owns a huge lawncare business his engine melted like that but he had a fire extinguisher in his truck so he put it out before it could melt anything else. john deere said he probably spilt gas on the engine when he refueled it. but he takes great care of his machines and i highly doubt he didnt wipe up the spilled gas if he did spill it. and it was a ztr by the way. not sure of the specs.

Ha junk Deere at it best.

I would do some research and find out if others have gone up like this.
