I just replaced the head gaskets and for some reason did not take pictures as I took pieces off like normal. So now I have this sort black wire, fairly heavy gauge that I can't seem to remember where it came from or find a place that makes sense where it came from. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
That looks like a ground wire and I would hazard a guess that it went from a bower housing bolt to the rectifier mounting bolt to ground the rectifier.
If that is the case, make a secons so both mounting bolts are grounded.
