Craftsman T2000 Riding mower help

Was cutting the grass today and then all of the sudden the gas pedal became completely free and had no tension and the mower would not move. I think I’ve tracked it down to a spring under the seat. Does anyone know the name for the spring so I can order a new one? And does anyone know if it has to connect a certain way?
