I have a Craftsman Eager1 push mower, 4HP/20", Model # 917.386020. The motor is a Tecumseh Model # 143.964008.
The mower either would not start or would run for a little while then stall. I cleaned out the carb a few times with limited success. I now have the carb off and have soaked it cleaner.
Could someone help me with the carb rebuild part number and the best place to get one? I would like the works, including; bowl gasket, gaskets, primer bulb.
Intake pipe gasket is tecumseh 26756 or oregon 49-402.
carb mount gasket is tecumseh 34690a or oregon 49-156.
air cleaner mount gasket is tecumseh 34338
primer bulb is tecumseh 632694 or oregon 49-231.
carb kit is tecumseh 632760b oregon is available but i have had issues with the aftermarket kits from oregon and stens with the needle valve not sealing, probably a seat problem. the oem kit may not be available in your area but if you can find it that is the one to use.
