I recently adjusted the governor and on reassemble and checking, I have lost ignition spark.
Someone suggested that it might be a kill switch issue. I have checked the three kill switches, Seat, Clutch/Brake and Blade engage. They all cut off the starter if not engaged.
I am unable to fine any other connections. There is a single wire out of the harness below the solenoid. It is about 6" long. It has an insulated female spade connector. It had no effect when I jumped it to ground but there was a spark at the battery positive post when I jumped to there.
Any suggestions.
Thanks

How are you checking for spark??
If its the spark plug against the metal of the engine then you wont get an accurate test.
You need to check with a spark tester.

What engine is fitted?
