Mechanic Mark: The link does show a parts list print and links to the owners manual. I have an owners manual. Neither the parts schematic picture or anything in the owner's manual explains how to actually remove the battery shroud. Thanks anyhow.

Pull it up. It clips in place. The link he gave that I used to figure this out has no screws to hold it down. If there are no screws it is a pop in place cover.
