I have a JD X300. Older model with a bagger attachment. It was working fine till I put a new set of JD high lift blades on at the first of the year( installed correctly). Now it will not push the grass up the tube to the bagger . It is a new tube but continues to clog up while mowing. Any suggestion on what to look for?

Do you have a blower on the deck or are just relying on the draught from the blades to toss the clippings int the bag ?

You need to install the bagging blades. The high lift installed are for side discharge.

On the 42" mower deck, make sure you lift both the plastic deflector flap AND the metal flap before installing the chute. The chute will fit over the metal flap, but the flap will choke off the chute, and it will clog all the time. This is the most common mistake people make when installing the chute.
