I have a Honda gx690r taf engine. I checked the wires coming from the charging coil and it read .4 ohm should be 0.18 -0.28. also checked the voltage it was 60v.
Is the coil bad? Any help is appreciated.

If you can get 60V from a mower coil, patient it.
To get that high you would need to be running at 7000 rpm.

3500 .checked with 2 seperate meters. Thats the measurement.
Does that mean the coil is malfunctioning?why is there only .4
Resistance?
